This month holds the best opportunity to view both Jupiter and Saturn for all of 2017!
>Telescopes will be available, but you can bring your own binoculars too!
Program:
Jupiter and Saturn will be visible by eye and by telescope! This is the first MSU Astronomy and Telescope Night that Saturn will be visible. Many bright stars and constellations will also be observable.
On June 2, the moon will be in a gibbous phase; many craters will be visible, as well as most of the lunar “seas.” If you’ve never seen the moon through a telescope, this will be a special treat. The photo shown above was taken using a cell phone through our smallest scope.
