Finding Funding for your STEM Project – Teacher Workshop

Presenters Lauren Aerni-Flessner and Sobha Ramanand, grant writers in the Office of the Senior Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies at Michigan State University, will discuss how area schools can successfully find, apply for, and secure foundation funding for education projects.

The presentation will first give an overview of the various foundations that fund school-based STEM projects in the Midland and surrounding geographical area, including the foundations’ funding requirements, restrictions, and upcoming deadlines. The second part of the seminar will discuss tips for putting together a successful grant application package.

The event is free but registration in advance is required. Light refreshments will be served.
