MSU Extension and 4H

Midland County MSU Extension and 4-H provide the research backed youth development models that provide the basis of all the St. Andrews STEM outreach programs. This holistic approach provided in weekend and after school programming and Special Interest STEAM clubs help to prepare Midland area youth for bright futures, whether the successful navigation to a STEM career, or development of life-long citizen science capability and appreciation.

MSU Extension Science Educators at MSU St. Andrews support families and educators as a single point of contact with multiple educational partners such as First Robotics, Square One Educational Robotics, MATE, NOAA Sea Grant, Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative and Place Based Education, Sustainability Teacher Fellowship, National and Michigan Science Olympiad, Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and Flint Science Fair, Code Club, Raspberry Pi Foundation, Girls Can Code, Apple Coding Academy, World Food Prize and Michigan Youth Institute, Bay STEM Alliance, NASA Hunch and Hunch Academy.

Besides collaborating on events hosted at MSU St. Andrews, Midland County MSU Extension and 4-H hosts a multitude of other youth and family events.
